Nigel Roberts

Biography

First appearing for us in our first campaign as a senior team, Nigel Roberts had a knack for scoring goals in our early days. The bulk of his tally came during our 1979-80 campaign; one in which stadium issues kept us back from competing with other senior teams like for like. Even after stepping up to the United Counties League for the 1980-1 season, he still wasn’t averse to a goal; netting three times in a handful of games. Quite why that’s as much as we saw him is not one we can answer. But, like all things, there is no doubt a reason.
