Biography
Mike Bignall signed for us in summer 1996 after impressing up at Runcorn – but lasted just a short time before returning north. He made a bright start to the 1996-7 campaign; scoring four times in his first 11 matches. But he then spent some time out of the team. Not until mid-February did he make his return to the Boro’ line-up; turning out just three more times for us before he left. He signed for Morecambe – just in time to play against us that season.
