Travel Information

Distance (By Road):

109 miles

Car Route
By Road:

Helpfully, Lincoln is not situated near a motorway so once you get to the end of the A1, you may just as well pack your car up and travel the rest of the way by horse and cart. Travel northbound on the A1 from Stevenage and then take take the A46 exit towards Lincoln/A17.

Turn left at the A46 and follow it through the next three roundabouts. At Hykeham roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Newark Road/A1434 continue along this road through the next roundabout and on to St Catherines/A15. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto High St/B1262, turn right at Scorer Street and right again at Cross Street.

Where To Park?:

If you follow the signs for Away Coaches, this leads you to the A158 South Park Avenue where there is plenty of street parking and a 10 minute walk to the ground. Failing that, if you arrive early enough you can park behind the Stacey West stand for a cost of £4. Once you're there, park up, give the horse a carrot (flat palmed), thank your deity that you're not in Boston and enjoy the rest of your day.

Train Route
By Train:

If you fancy a stroll, Lincoln Central train station is approx. 15 minutes from the ground. Turn left out of the station and walk to the traffic lights. Throw a left on to the High St, over the level crossing and carry on for approx. 10 mins until turning left on to Scorer Street. Walk along Scorer Street and cross the bridge over the Sincil Drain River, turn right after the bridge and the ground is straight ahead.
