Facilities for Disabled Supporters:

Disabled supporters are charged at a discounted rate of £6, with carers admitted free of charge, subject to the presentation of a DLA award letter at the Ticket Office. This is applicable to ambulant disabled fans and wheelchair users. Six car parking spaces are available to purchase on the day.

For more details, contact Steve Johnson/the club ticket office on 0871 221 2001

Pre-Match Pint:

A beer can be purchased in the away end at Prenton Park, although the Prenton Park Hotel is situated not too far away from the away fans'' turnstile and appears popular with the travelling support. Other watering holes can be found within walking distance.

Travel Information

Distance (By Road):

182 miles

Car Route
By Road:

After leaving Stevenage, head towards the M1 and join the northbound carriageway. At Junction 19, bear left onto the M6 and continue your journey towards the north west. Either follow the old motorway or the newer M6 Toll to see yourself past Birmingham.

Exiting the M6 at Junction 20, join the westbound M56 towards Chester and North Wales. The next step will be to take the northbound M56 for Ellesmere Port and Birkenhead for around 10 miles. Leave the motorway at Junction 4 for the A5137 for Heswall/Bebington.

At the roundabout, take the fourth exit and head onto the Mount Rd/B5151 for Tranmere. Go through two roundabouts and when Mount Road becomes Storeton Road, turn right into Prenton Road West. The ground will be visible on the right hand side but will have already been signposted.

Where To Park?:

The stadium does provide a car park, but perhaps do not stake your chances on getting in. And be wary of residents' parking schemes on the surrounding streets in order to keep your nose clean. Instead, a sports ground on Borough Road has parking costing £3.

Train Route
By Train:

It'll be a 20-25 minute walk from the nearest station, Birkenhead Central (although Rock Ferry is also listed as being similarly as close). Exit the station onto Argyle St/B5147 towards Helena Street and then turn right onto Pearson Rd/B5147.

Continue straight onto Church Rd/B5148 for more than half a mile, before turning right onto Prenton Rd E. This is soon followed by a left turn onto Borough Road and the ground should now appear in front of you.
