Travel Information

Distance (By Road):

43 miles

Car Route
By Road:

Carshalton is almost directly due south of Stevenage, so a direct route might be best when taking on this particular trip. Travel south on the A1(M) and continue straight onto the A1. At Northway Circus on the outskirts of Mill Hill/Edgware, take the first exit to remain on the A1.

At the next roundabout as you approach Hendon, take the second exit for the A41 Watford Way. Continue along for two miles and take the ramp for Hendon Way to join the westbound A406 North Circular Road towards Brent Park/Wembley. At the Chiswick Roundabout, take the fourth exit for the A205 Chiswick High Road for Kew.

Continue through Kew and North Sheen until you reach a T-junction. Turn left onto the A305 Upper Richmond Road (W) and after 1.4 miles, kep right at the fork to remain on this road. In the heart of Putney, turn right onto the A219 Putney Hill for nearly three miles.

Turn left onto Wimbledon Hill Road (A219) after passing Wimbledon Common and cross the railway. Turn right to remain on the A219 and continue straight ahead as this becomes the A24 Morden Road. At the next roundabout, take the first exit for the A297 alongside Morden Hall Park.

Continue over the next roundabout and at the Rosehill Roundabout, take the second exit for the B276 Wrythe Lane. As the road comes round a right bend into Carshalton, there will be a right turn for Colston Avenue. Take this. The ground will be on the right.

Where To Park?:

There appears to be a small car park at the ground, which might not entirely fill up but it's quite conceivable that it may. If this is the case, you might be able to find somewhere on the access road or nearby side streets.

Train Route
By Train:

Turn right as you exit the station on the southbound side of the tracks, and walk up to the end of the road. Another right will take you onto the B278 to cross the railway, before a left turn at the mini-roundabout will take you into Colston Avenue. Walk along this road until you reach the right turn for the access road.
