Facilities for Disabled Supporters:

Disabled fans - both ambulant and wheelchair users - are admitted to the ground at a concessionary rate, with assistants charged a student price where appropriate.

To qualify, you'll need to be in receipt of medium or higher DLA and provide evidence of this, along with photographic ID.

There are 20 wheelchair bays located in the Jack Barrett Stand, which are allocated equally between home and away supporters - though you're advised to contact the club in advance.

Beer
Pre-Match Pint:

You're likely to find that the closest pub to the stadium is The Crown, which is just behind the ground on Whalley Road and is usually open to all supporters. A Sam Smith's pub - The Greyhound - is a mere five-minute walk down Whalley Road towards the motorway.

Travel Information

Distance
Distance (By Road):

160 miles

Car Route
By Road:

Stockport is on the southern side of Manchester, so the best route would be to head north on the M1 and bear left onto the M6. Continue until the exit for the A556, turning onto the Manchester/M56-bound carriageway. After more than four miles, take the third exit at the roundabout and continue towards the M56. After half a mile, join the M56.

After more than eight miles, join the M60 before exiting at Junction 2 for Cheadle/A560. Continue towards the roundabout and take the second exit for Stockport Road/A560 towards Stockport town centre. Turn right after half a mile at Edgeley Road before a quick left to keep you on Edgeley Road (B5465). After a mile, there will be a right turn for Caroline Street - the ground is down here.

Parking
Where To Park?:

The ground is well signposted in Stockport, and your best bet is to find some on-street parking in the surrounding residential areas. However, be alert for permit schemes that have been introduced - it'll save you a nasty fine.

Train Route
By Train:

Station: STOCKPORT
Services to: LONDON EUSTON

From Stockport's railway station, head north on Station Road before a sharp right to remain on the same thoroughfare. At Railway Road, turn left for around 100 yards before making a right onto Wellington Road. Turn right onto Greek Street and continue to the roundabout.

At the roundabout, take the third exit (think of it as if you were driving). You should now be in Mercian Way. After 0.3 miles, you'll need to turn left into Caroline Street before arriving on Hardcastle Road. If you can't see the ground from here, you've gone wrong somewhere.
