Facilities for Disabled Supporters:

There is a designated area for disabled supporters at York City that's located adjacent to the Main Stand and Enclosure, close to the pitch and fully covered from the elements. Five wheelchair bays are allocated for travelling supporters.

Meanwhile, there are 19 easy access seats for those with ambulant disabilities. However, these are shared between home and away fans. If you have any specific needs or would like further info, you are invited to contact the club itself.

Ticket prices are £18 for disabled supporters or £12 for concessions, with personal assistants allowed in free.

Pre-Match Pint:

York is a joyous place to go and watch football, with a city centre packed full of excellent options. It's a mere 10-15 minute walk from the centre of York to the ground, but if you feel compelled to get to the ground early, you might be permitted entry into the Pitchside Bar.

Distance (By Road):

172 miles

Car Route
By Road:

York is a relatively straight forward place to reach by car from Stevenage, and one would basically follow the same directions as if they were driving to Scarborough. Take a trip up the A1, and then head for York on the A64.

Once you reach the city, roughly ten miles after leaving the A1, turn onto the A1237 as if heading for Harrogate. Head along the A1237 until you reach the A19 junction.

Turn right onto the A19 Shipton Road, and head for the city centre. When you reach the Burton Stone pub after about 2 miles, turn left and you'll soon see the ground.

Parking
Where To Park?:

You might get lucky with the local streets if you arrive early enough, but you'll encounter a fair few residents schemes in force too. If you have to go further afield to park, there are no shortage of city centre options that are a short enough walk back to the ground.

Train Route
By Train:

Station: YORK
Services to: STEVENAGE

If you're walking straight to the ground from the station, turn left out of the main entrance and head down Station Road to the first main road junction. Here, turn left as if you were heading to the National Railway Museum along Leeman Road.

Just as you reach the railway bridge ahead of you after passing the Royal Mail sorting office, there'll be a right turn taking you towards the river. Head down here and then over the River Ouse.

At the other side, you'll find yourself in a residential area with a car park. Continue straight up with the railway line to your left, until a path takes you under and onto Bootham Terrace. Go up here to the main road.

Once you reach the main road, you may as well continue straight across onto Grosvenor Terrace, with the railway on your right. Turn right after a third of a mile onto Grosvenor Road and the ground will be ahead of you on the right.
