Car Route
By Road:

In order to get to Manchester, start out your journey from Stevenage by crossing country to the M1. This can be done in a manner of ways, so take your pick of whichever works best for you. Follow the M1 northbound until Junction 19, and pick up the northbound M6.

Choose your preference of Toll or non-Toll M6 and continue until you reach Junction 21a, where you will need to take the northbound M62 for Manchester. After around nine miles, head onto the M602 for Salford. Leave the motorway at Junction 3, for A5063 for Salford and Trafford Park.

Remain on the A5063 by following signs and directions before taking a left onto Wharfside Way/A5081. After 0.2 miles, there will be a left for Sir Matt Busby Way. If the ground isn't obvious beyond any doubt by now...

Where To Park?:

In and around the ground, there are a number of private car parks that will charge for the pleasure of leaving your car. The Football Ground Guide gives a few options that are available to you, which include options nearer Old Trafford and alternatives a little further afield.

Train Route
By Train:

With success comes, apparently, a train station. And Manchester United FC boast their own station outside the ground that is served by Northern Rail from the city's main interchange. It is literally next to the venue.
