Facilities for Disabled Supporters:

Deepdale offers a wide range of disabled facilities by the club's own admission, with pitch-level entry and seating for wheelchair users and elevated seating for wheelchair users in three stands with step-free access.

Hearing looped equipment is available in the Bill Shankly Kop, while all stands comprise accessible toilet and catering facilities for all wheelchair users and ambulant disabled.

Pre-match booking is advised but not essential. Give the ticket office a call on 0870 442 1966 for more details. However, Preston North End advises that Boro' supporters will have an allocation sent to the club.

Pre-Match Pint:

Pubs are scarce in the immediate area, but further up or Tom Finney Way, is Sumners. Home and away fans mix here with a good-sized garden and decent food. It's towards the Sainsbury's superstore and away from the town centre.

Travel Information

Distance (By Road):

200 miles

Car Route
By Road:

At around 200 miles, this will be one of the longer journeys for Stevenage fans. A conservative estimate places the journey time at more than 3.5 hours. Essential components of the trip are the M1 and M6, or the A14 and M6.

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 31 for the A59 towards the centre of Preston. After a mile, take the second exit at the roundabout for the A5085 Blackpool Road. Follow this for more than a mile and turn left onto Lowthorpe Road. The ground will appear on your right.

Where To Park?:

Car parking is mainly restricted to local on-street provision, but perhaps avoid the grass verges near the ground for the sake of avoiding being penalised by the authorities. Else, the Moorfields Special School may suffice at £3 per car, while the Sumners pub may allow parking (£3).

Train Route
By Train:

Station: PRESTON
Services to: LONDON EUSTON

The station is around a mile from the stadium, so be prepared for a lengthy walk. Head east on Fishergate towards Mount Street. Continue onto Church Street for nearly half a mile before turning onto Deepdale Road (now called Tom Finney Way... it's the A6063).

After nearly a mile, turn right onto Park Side and again onto Hollins Road for the away end.
