Young striker Terry Dixon started his career with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in 2004 as a 14-year-old, taking only three years to impress the management enough to earn a professional contract at White Hart Lane. However, injury conspired to delay his progress and first team action failed to materialise.

In March 2008, Spurs opted to release the player. A fresh start was afforded to the striker in February 2009 after proving himself to West Ham United. However, it was to be a familiar tale as Dixon was limited to reserve team appearances before leaving the club by mutual consent.

Despite the lack of apparent success at club level, however, Dixon has proved to be very much on the radar of the Republic of Ireland setup; to date, he has played for Ireland's U16, U17, U21 and senior sides.

Dixon's stay at Stevenage was a brief one. Three substitute appearances that failed to yield any goals was the extent of his impact at The Lamex, and he moved down the pyramid in 2011.
