Michael Richens was one half of the pair of Peterborough United players brought in by Graham Westley on loan in September 2014. A right-sided defender by trade, Richens can also play in a more advanced, midfield role.

The player's arrival at Stevenage was the first chance - aside from Posh - to show his capabilities at League level, having already proved his worth in non-league thanks to successful loan spells at Nuneaton Town and Bishop's Stortford.

Despite having left Boro' at the end of his loan deal and subsequently turning up at Farnborough, a twist of fate saw him become a bone fide Boro' lad in January 2015 - although his time at Farnborough was to continue before he was ultimately released by Boro' a few months later.
