With a significant amount of experience to offer, striker Kevin Lisbie was unveiled as the latest addition to the Stevenage squad by manager Graham Westley in March 2015 - albeit on a one-month loan from Leyton Orient.

The former Jamaican international had first made his name at Charlton Athletic, the club that he made his breakthrough at. And a hattrick against Liverpool stands out as arguably one of his foremost moments at The Valley.

After a number of loan spells while still at Charlton, it wasn't until 2007 when he finally secured a permanent move away; the next port of call proving to be Colchester United and a fruitful time at Layer Road.

Ipswich Town were alerted and swooped to secure his services in 2008, though he was to end up back at the Us - and then later at Millwall - on loan. In 2011, he made the switch to Leyton Orient.

Boro' made their move when it became clear that Lisbie, now well into his 30s, was moving down the Orient pecking order. But Westley knew that his experience was something that could prove critical in the chase for the League Two playoffs.
