In the battle to arrest a concerning slump in form as the 2015-6 League Two campaign entered the autumn, Stevenage boss Teddy Sheringham turned in earnest to the loan market - with Chesterfield striker Armand Gnanduillet one of the temporary signatures.

Boro' were short of goals and the Ivory Coast forward was seen as the man to sort that issue out. After switching to Derbyshire from France in 2013, he scored his first goal on his third Football League outing and collected a fair few appearances.

In spite of his first team action at Chesterfield, Gnanduillet went on loan to Tranmere Rovers in October 2014 and bagged two goals while there. A March 2015 loan move to Oxford ended early after he was called back by Chesterfield.

Prior to his English career, the forward started out at Le Havre II - the reserve team of Le Havre AC. He switched to AS Poissy in 2012, scoring five times in 11 games. With the exception of Oxford, he has scored wherever he'd been. Could Boro' be the same?
