Zimbabwe-born midfielder Bradley Pritchard was drafted in on loan by Stevenage boss Darren Sarll in late March 2016. Boro' were struggling at the wrong end of the League Two table and saw Pritchard's services as a useful addition in the battle to avoid the drop.

At the time, the midfielder was on the books of Leyton Orient and been a pretty regular fixture in their side. It was surprising to see him arrive at the Lamex in those circumstances, but the experience he had to offer wasn't something Boro' could afford at the time.

Prior to signing a two-year deal with Orient in 2014, Pritchard had been at Charlton a move that had come about after he'd been a volunteer performance analyst at the Addicks and then impressing in a trial. It was the player's first step up into the Football League.

Carshalton Athletic was the side at which his career begun, before moving to the East Midlands with Nuneaton Borough and Tamworth. Hayes and Yeading United was the next port of call in 2010 - a club at which he impressed the supporters with his performance.
