FIFA 20 Verdict: Crewe Alexandra (A)

Updated:

By Pete H

Turns out our FIFA 20 Verdict can have a punt at predicting how a game will end up – but that sort of needs it to go ahead in the first place. Last week, the endless rain saw that we wouldn’t get to see the 3-3 draw that was in store for us. So, what will put the mockers on our prediction this time round? Coronavirus, no doubt. But, on the very likely off chance it will all go ahead as planned, shall we fire up the PS4 and see how this one’s gonna go?

Yeah. Why not. We’re self-isolating* so we’ve got nowt better to do.

(*We are not self-isolating and are quite well at BoroGuide HQ thank you very much…)

What odds on fiction becoming fact?
The bookies will see you coming a mile off if you think we’re gonna come out on top up at Gresty Road. A Boro’ win is showing as a ridonculous 67/10 (Marathon), while the correct score is 89/4 (Sports Nation). To put that into context, the bookies think a 4-0 home win is more likely. The safer options could be 10/11 (Betway) on Both Teams To Score or 37/50 (Marathon) on there being Over 2.5 Goals.

  • Dan Kemp to be first goalscorer – 14s (multiple)
  • Jamie Jones to score at any time – 4s (multiple)
  • Craig Mackail-Smith to score at any time – 4s (Betway)

Now, our fun stopped as soon as the final whistle went here. If you’re having a punt and the fun stops, so should you.
